Man has the ability to perceive G-d, each on his own level. We perceive G-d through His creations, constant wonders, personal encounters and, of course, His Torah. The highest levels of perception attainable by man are those of aspaklaria. The literal definition of aspaklaria is "looking glass." This term is used in tradition to describe the different levels of clarity attained by the prophets: the highest level being through the most transparent looking-glass, the "aspaklaria hameirah."
