This release features 22 selections composed by Reb Shlomo Carlebach zt'l for Shabbos day with music and vocals by Ben Zion Solomon & sons. In general, Reb Shlomo juiced up the Shabbos day to the utmost. Depending on the tolerance and sensitivities of the congregation, it is possible to insert niggunim and dancing in many places. The particular niggunim presented in this recording are not to be construed as the only possibilities. The truth is that there is no one "Nusach Carlebach" since Reb Shlomo himself never davened (prayed) the same way twice. This recording is intended to be used on weekdays only as a guide to learning Reb Shlomo's style of davening or just for your listening pleasure.
