Kenny's message: I was raised in a loving environment. My parents fed me their impressions of religious and ethical values and I digested whatever I considered palatable. It was apparent to most that although I coveted my family's adoration, I would not choose a traditional path. I would have to follow my own direction in my own way. Music was always my way. From the synagogue choir in Montreal to the recording studios of Manhattan - from the plaintive strains of cantorial liturgy to the pounding rhythms of contemporary advertising - I would sing and release a flow of energy that would transform an inhibited Rabbi's son into a sophisticated, experienced interpreter of dreams.
