Reb Shlomo's most soulful music really will "open your heart." Shlomo rarely sang anyone's music but his own: his rendition of Reb Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev's niggun will go straight to the depths of your heart. This wonderful collection of songs was originally recorded in 1986 by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and his friend, Neil Siedel, as a video documentary on Reb Shlomo's life. The tapes were forgotten about for over a decade. They were discovered twelve years later and retrieved from the filmmaker to be produced as a labor of love in the present format.
